Welcome back! Part 1 of this series discussed the best cities in the country for veterans to live. Fayetteville and San Angelo topped the list as two of the most affordable and welcoming cities for former servicemembers. Take a look at which other locations are veteran friendly.

As the home of the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, has a community rich in veteran support. There are also plenty of jobs available for former servicemembers, and residents have some of the best views of the Rocky Mountains.

Charleston, South Carolina, has a long military history, so the community is very welcoming to veterans. The city also has housing initiatives to support first-time homebuyers, and the cost of living is relatively low.
