There’s more than one way to raise money to end veteran homelessness. In Savannah, Georgia, the owners of a sauce and condiment business have decided to sell a cookbook full of creative recipes and donate the proceeds.

Savannah Sauce Company co-owners Tracey Richburg and Mike Roberson are compiling the book to benefit a housing development that sets units aside to re-house homeless veterans. This support for the veteran community comes with a direct connection: Richburg is herself an Army veteran.

The theme of the planned cookbook is creative dishes based around the quirky and unique sauces produced by the Savannah Sauce Company. If it’s a success at raising funds, it may just be the first in an annual series.

Thanks for watching, and we’ll see you next time.
