A recent gathering in La Vista, Nebraska, honored hundreds of veterans and family members of the lost.

Instead of focusing on one era or conflict, the “Grand Reunion” brought together individuals who served in a variety of conflicts, from World War II to present-day engagements.

The event’s founders, reflecting on the fact that many older vets have passed on in recent years, decided to bring all generations together to commemorate and honor their time in the service.

Parents of those who lost their lives in the line of duty were invited to the gathering to keep their family members’ memories alive.

Ensuring veterans’ strong ties continue after their time in the military can be a vital effort, as there’s a real risk of becoming too isolated after retiring or being discharged.

Thanks for watching, we’ll see you next time.
