Welcome back!

Living overseas can be tough on military families, especially during the holidays. However, Part 1 of this series outlined a few helpful hints to make Thanksgiving abroad just as special as it would be at home. Now, let’s discuss a few more options.

A big part of Thanksgiving tradition is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the football games. Do some research and find out if you can stream these broadcasts over the Internet, so that you and your family can view all the fun.

You don’t have to feel constrained by American traditions either. Feel free to go out for a traditional meal at a local restaurant in your country. Good food is something to be thankful for, even if it’s not turkey and stuffing.

Thanks for tuning in!
