Since the Pentagon’s announcement that women are now allowed to participate in all combat position, there are many new jobs available to female servicemembers. Part 1 of this series discussed the inclusion of women in Green Berets, Army Rangers and infantry across all branches. Now, let’s discuss a couple more positions.
Because of the decision, women in the military will now be able to drive tanks and become paratroopers. Both jobs were previously reserved for men.
Female servicemembers will also be able to pursue jobs as mortarmen, the military members in charge of firing mortars in combat.
