With the holiday season fast approaching, many charitable efforts focused on helping those less fortunate need a lot of help.

That includes one initiative to recognize veterans who have passed on.

Wreaths for Veterans in Huntsville, Alabama, which is part of the Wreaths Across America movement, asks for help from local volunteers to make wreaths and bows to place on fallen service members’ graves.

Each year, Wreaths for Veterans makes more than 6,000 wreaths to place on veterans’ graves in the city.

Now, the organization needs help with everything from cutting ribbons to making bows and physically delivering wealths to the appropriate sites.

This effort is a great way for people to show they care about the sacrifices veterans in their community have made.

Thanks for watching!
