Finding a good job has long been a problem among veterans after they return from service, and now more organizations are willing to help.
To that end, veteran-specific job fairs have become quite common across the U.S. in the past few years, and that trend continues in Port Royal, South Carolina.
The Veterans Employment Training Services hiring event will take place soon.
It not only connect vets with companies looking to hire them, but gives them useful career help overall as well.
That includes services like punching up a resume, mentoring for entrepreneurship, training or education for new jobs, and more.
These, in turn, can go a long way toward helping vets avoid the unemployment line.
