The legendary rock band KISS is known more for its outrageous outfits and stage presence than its love for veterans.

However, at a recent show, the band donated $150,000 to veterans in Colorado, and continues to work with vets on an ongoing basis.

This effort is taking place on the band’s Freedom to Rock tour, with every stop coming to cities with large veteran populations.

They also give out free tickets to veterans in the community, and bring a few on stage during the show.

KISS even provides one lucky vet the chance to be a “Roadie for the Day.”

Plenty is being done to raise awareness and money for veterans’ issues, and these efforts from KISS are just another facet of that.

Thanks for watching, and be sure to check in again for more news about how anyone can help veterans.
