Thanks for joining us. Today, we’ll be discussing your health care as you transition from military to civilian life.

The Transitional Assistance Management Program can provide medical coverage to you and your family for 180 days after you’ve left the service. You can qualify for TAMP care in one of four ways. First, you can be a servicemember who was involuntarily separated from active duty. You could also be a member of the National Guard or Reserve who’s leaving active duty after having been called up for a mission of at least 30 days.

Additionally, you qualify if you’re a soldier leaving active duty due to a voluntary agreement to stay on for less than a year in support of a contingency mission, or if you’re a servicemember separated from active duty after being involuntarily retained to serve a contingency operation.

We appreciate you stopping by. Be sure to check back soon.
